SEVERE WEATHER IMPACTS STATE
The State Emergency Operations Center activated yesterday to monitor severe weather forecast across the state. The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (ODEMHS) is in contact with emergency managers in the affected areas and coordinating with agencies and organizations including the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Oklahoma Corporation Commission, Oklahoma State Department of Health, Oklahoma Department of Transportation, Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Oklahoma Insurance Department, Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, National Weather Service, Oklahoma American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief and other Oklahoma Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster.
Officials in the impacted counties continue to advise residents to stay off the roads and stay home while crews work to remove debris and powerlines from roads.
STORM REPORTS
Widespread damage has been reported across the state as a result of Saturday’s storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and hail. Damage reported including trees and limbs down, powerlines and power poles down, roof and siding damage, structure fires, and roads closed.
Counties reporting damage include: Bryan, Carter, Choctaw, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Ellis, Harper, Kay, Lincoln, Logan, McIntosh, Okfuskee, Oklahoma, Osage, Payne, Rogers, Tulsa, Woods, and Woodward.
Damage assessments are ongoing in the affected areas.
MASS CARE AND INJURIES
In Creek County, three injuries were reported by Creek County Emergency Management.
In Payne County, a shelter was set up overnight at the Assembly of God Church in Yale.
POWER OUTAGES
At the height of the storm, more than 350,000 power outages were reported across the state.
The Oklahoma Corporation Commission reports 319,535 outages at 10:30 a.m.

RESIDENTS ASKED TO REPORT DAMAGE
Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management is asking residents impacted by the recent storms to report damages to their property at damage.ok.gov. Reporting damage helps local and state emergency managers better coordinate response and recovery efforts. Residents can report damage to homes, businesses or agriculture through the online survey.
