POWER OUTAGES

The State Emergency Operations Center (EOC) remains activated due to winter weather conditions that continue to impact areas of Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management (OEM) is in contact with emergency managers in the affected areas and has received the following reports.

Power Outages

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission reports statewide, about 39,969 customers are without power.

PSO reports 7,363 customers are without power throughout the state. Most of PSO's outages remain in McAlester, where 6,779 customers are without power. Other communities experiencing power outages are Atoka, Chouteau, Grove, Okmulgee, Vinita and Wilburton.

OG&E reports 9,626 customers are without power. The largest OG&E outage is in Muskogee where 6,982 are without power. Other outages are reported in Boynton, Checotah, North and South Oklahoma City, Porum and Warner.

Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives reports 22,779 electric cooperative customers are without power. Additionally, more than 3,300 utility poles are down across the cooperative service area. Below is a list of electric cooperatives, the location of their office and the number of power outages.
