Solar Energy Facilities

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission regulates solar energy facilities in Oklahoma, pursuant to the Oklahoma Solar Energy Development Act of 2026, 17 O.S. § 809.10.

The Solar Energy Development Act, 17 O.S. §§ 809 et seq., and the Commercial Solar Faclity Decommissioning Act, 17 O.S. §§ 820 et seq., became effective July 1, 2026. 

Solar Energy Facility Owners shall complete and submit the following forms to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission:

• Notification of Intent to Build
• Insurance Attestation
