Technical Services Department

The mission of the Technical Services Department is to:

• balance the rights of all parties
• assist the domestic oil and gas industry
• protect and preserve the environment, and
• prevent the waste of the state's natural resources

This is done by:

• ensuring compliance with the applicable laws and rules
• processing applicable applications and permits; and
• collecting, verifying, maintaining and disseminating accurate information for the regulated industry, surface and mineral owners, along with other governmental agencies and the people we serve.
