Brownfields

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission's Brownfield Program provides a process for individuals, companies, non-profits, cities and towns, and other entities to voluntarily investigate and, if necessary, clean up properties that may be contaminated with oil and gas or petroleum storage tank wastes, returning the sites to productive use.

The Corporation Commission's Brownfield Program can provide state and federal environmental liability relief to those who go through the program.  Being in the program will also allow brownfield site owners and lessees access to state and/or federal financial and tax relief programs.
