Early Detection of Dementia: Overview and Resources for Providing Quality Care

The Oklahoma Health Care Authority, in partnership with the Oklahoma State Department of Health, will present a webinar at 2 p.m., June 10, 2025.

Join us to learn about the importance of early detection of dementia and detection strategies from Dr. Josh Chodosh of the BOLD Center of Excellence on Early Dementia Detection at NYU Langone Health. Staff from the Oklahoma Healthy Brain Initiative will provide an overview of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, as well as education opportunities and resources for providers and patients in Oklahoma. Reimbursement for cognitive impairment care planning with CPT code 99483 will also be discussed.

The webinar is available for all SoonerCare providers interested in learning about early detection of dementia and resources. Register here.
