The Oklahoma State Department of Education collaborates with Oklahoma educators to develop and identify high-quality resources for teachers and districts. Oklahoma resources include the English Language Arts Framework, past professional development slideshows, writing contest information, and access to instructional communities for professional growth.

High-Quality Instructional Materials
To provide guidance to teachers, schools, and districts as they make decisions about the best high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) for their students, the OSDE now has reviews of PK-5 & 6-12 ELA instructional materials. The reviews include scores and rationales to help inform stakeholders as they decide which materials to adopt. Blank rubrics for ELA Grades PK-2, 3-5, and 6-12 are also available if districts would like to conduct their own reviews. The three-tiered structure of the rubric and the three overall ratings are explained on the Approved Titles page.
