EMS - ALS Psychomotor
The Health Certification Project coordinates the NREMT ALS Psychomotor exam for the following licensure categories:
- Advanced EMT - AEMT
- Paramedic
Testing Fees
Licensure fees are paid to the Oklahoma State Department of Health at the time of application. Print and complete the Application for Licensure and Affidavit of Lawful Presence. Mail the form and the required fees to OSDH – the address is on the licensure form.
Testing fees are paid to the Oklahoma Department of CareerTech at the time of registration. Fees are as follows:
- Initial Test/Full Retake - Paramedic/AEMT: $310
- Same-Day Retake - AEMT or Paramedic: $110
- Partial Retake - AEMT or Paramedic: $110
Same day retests are not guaranteed. In the event that a same-day retest is available, candidates must pay the applicable retest fee to ODCTE.
Standard processing time for results is two to three weeks. If you have not received results in 30 days, please contact NREMT.
Registering for an ALS Psychomotor Exam
- Download and print the ALS Psychomotor Exam Candidate Instructions for information on registering for and taking an ALS Psychomotor Exam.
- Register for an ALS Exam below by selecting the link below the exam date. Be sure to complete all fields and electronically sign/date the registration – incomplete registrations will be canceled. You will receive an electronic confirmation of your registration a minimum of two weeks before the test date.
Registration will close before the registration deadline if the location reaches maximum capacity. - Select and pay for the correct assessment from the CareerTech catalog. You must create an account before you can pay for your assessment - click "sign in" and then click "create your account." Be sure to select the correct assessment from the drop-down menu – no refunds can be given for incorrect exam selection or missed exams. Complete the order form and click on Submit. Complete the Check Out process by filling in the shipping/billing information (please use the name of the candidate), and select Assessment Order under the shipping options. Enter your payment information and place the order.
