Jobs for America's Graduates

JAG — Jobs for America’s Graduates — has existed throughout the United States for more than 45 years. It is a multi-year model high school program implemented and supervised by Oklahoma CareerTech in partnership with Oklahoma Human Services. Gov. Kevin Stitt is a strong supporter of JAG Oklahoma and serves on the JAG National Board of Directors. JAG delivers a competency-based curriculum that prepares students for successful futures by helping them overcome success barriers, build leadership and employability skills and engage in career and postsecondary exploration through both classroom instruction and work-based learning. These experiences are designed to ensure each student graduates with a clear plan of action for the future. In addition, JAG provides 12 months of follow-up services after graduation. During this period, the student’s JAG specialist continues to offer support to help ensure a smooth and successful transition into a career and/or postsecondary education.
