Technology Center Board Member Training
Technology Centers and their board members are responsible for ensuring they complete the training requirements specified in Sections 5-110 and 5-110.1 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes. Tech Center Board Member training may be conducted and/or coordinated by the Oklahoma Department of CareerTech (ODCTE), the Oklahoma State School Boards Association (OSSBA) or by an outside entity that has been approved by ODCTE.
Forms & Resources
Training points are tracked through the OSSBA Membership Portal. It is imperative that tech center board member information and training credits are kept up to date. The following forms are provided for your use:
- To submit board member changes and after annual elections, complete and submit the Annual School Board Membership Reporting Form.
- To submit completed board member training, complete and submit the Workshop Certificate of Completion Form. *Training agenda is required.
- If your district wishes to provide board member training, complete and submit the Workshop Request for Approval.
Completed forms and required documentation should be forwarded to misty.toms@careertech.ok.gov
