State Agency

What to expect if you are selected for an interview?

  • Our interviews will consist of a multi-person agency interview panel, usually lasting about an hour.

  • The Agency uses a Targeted Selection approach. With that, you will be asked a series of behavioral based set of questions using a technique called STAR.

  • The answers candidates give should include:
      Situation the candidate faced; or
      Task the candidate faced.
      Action the candidate took.
      Result of the candidate's action(s).

  • Hiring of all positions is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

  • The amount of your allowance, $9000-$20,000 is determined based upon the dependents you choose to include in health coverage.
