NTHS is partnering with The Toby Keith Foundation/OK Kids Korral for the 2022-2023 school year.
Service is one of the seven core values of NTHS. The opportunity for NTHS to partner with The Toby Keith Foundation allows members to learn more about community needs, develop plans to address those needs, make decisions and carry out successful programs that make a positive impact and visible difference in the community.
The OK NTHS Council wants to give every chapter the opportunity to serve. The Toby Keith Foundation/OK Kids Korral has been helping children with cancer since 2006. OK Kids Korral provides a cost-free, convenient and comfortable home for pediatric cancer patients receiving treatment in Oklahoma City.
| Listed below are the two OK NTHS community service projects for 2022-2023: |
- OK NTHS State Leadership Conference Community Service Project. OK NTHS challenges NTHS Members and chapters to fill the RED CUPS on tables with bills and coins at State Leadership Conference! All the money raised that day, will go to the Toby Keith Foundation’s OK Kids Korral Red Solo Cup Challenge
- OK NTHS Day at the Capitol. The OK Kid’s Korral is always in need of particular items. We would love for OK NTHS chapters to collect items between now and OK NTHS Day at the Capitol. We are encouraging chapters to take time during the day on February 15th to drop off the items at the OK Kid’s Korral, 818 NE 8th Street Oklahoma City.
