Provisional Certification

A provisional teacher certification is needed for individuals who are not already appropriately certified who have accepted a position as a full-time teacher in a full-time CareerTech program. The provisional certification will allow a teacher to work through the requirements for a standard certificate.

To qualify to the provisional teacher certification, individuals must have at least two years of full-time work/industry experience in the subject area that they have been employed to teach.
