Coverage will be for ages 40-999 with no prior authorization required. Reimbursement is set for manual pricing, with outpatient hospital APC pricing set at $53.12. The CADScor System is intended for patients experiencing chest pain with suspected CAD. |

| 1/16/26 | Long-acting Reversible Contraceptives (LARC) Training | Provider types: 08, 09, 10,13, 16, 31, 52 The Focus Forward Oklahoma Program is working to address issues related to access and utilization of long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARC). There are currently four training courses scheduled:
Focus Forward Oklahoma offers no-cost LARC training to Oklahoma providers, clinical support staff and administrative staff. Register for the training or visit our Provider Training web page for more information about Focus Forward. |

Providers: All Effective Feb. 1, 2026, OHCA will no longer require a prior authorization for CPT 71271 (low-dose CT lung scan). The test will be allowed once per calendar year. |
| 1/9/26 | Automated and AI-generated Calls | Providers: All OHCA has seen an increase in automated and AI-generated calls to our provider helplines. These systems cannot effectively interact with helpline staff and are contributing to delays for providers seeking live assistance. To reduce waiting times and ensure timely support, OHCA asks that helpline phone numbers not be used in automated or AI-driven calling systems. Automated or AI-generated calls may be disconnected so we can support live callers. Eligibility verification, covered services, claims and prior authorization information are still available through the secure provider portal. |

Providers: All Effective March 31, 2026, OHCA will end current coverage for 98960-98962. These codes were set up in the system several years ago to allow additional reimbursement to providers performing asthma and/or diabetes education to members ages 0-20. After March 31, reimbursement for this education will be included in other services, such as E&M visits or dedicated diabetic self-management codes. As of April 1, 2026, 98960-98962 will be used to report community health worker (CHW) services. Information about CHW services and reimbursement will be forthcoming. |

The webinar will be held at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 27. SBIRT is a comprehensive, integrated, public health approach to the delivery of early intervention and treatment services. |

Providers can access the form on the contracted entity websites. This form is intended to support you in the prior authorization process. Use is optional and offered as a helpful resource. Please note: This form applies only to SoonerSelect contracted entity service providers. For SoonerCare fee‑for‑service providers, the authorization process remains unchanged.
