Monitoring
The Oklahoma Department of Career & Technology Education is responsible for monitoring grant-related activities of sub-recipients receiving American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds for broadband, nursing, and truck driver training.
Based on the subrecipient's risk assessment, ODCTE will monitor ARPA projects on a quarterly or monthly basis. Monitoring may occur via a desk review, desk review with training and technical assistance, virtual, or onsite formats. During the visit, ODCTE staff may review the following:
- Alignment with project funding template
- Equipment
- Procurement
- Expenditures
- Inventory
- Performance data
- Uniform grant guidance compliance
- Project staff
- Grant-related policies and procedures
Following the monitoring visit, ODCTE staff will provide a monitoring report regarding program implementation and compliance to ARPA project staff. Additional review may be required.
