Nearly 600,000 Oklahomans can choose Medicaid health and dental plans starting May 1

OKLAHOMA CITY – Nearly 600,000 Oklahomans on SoonerSelect can participate in open enrollment by choosing their health and dental plans beginning May 1 through June 12, 2026. SoonerSelect is Oklahoma's managed care Medicaid program and offers the same health and dental services covered by SoonerCare but includes plan-specific added benefits.

The following information can help members navigate open enrollment. If members are happy with their current plan, no action is needed.

HOW DO MEMBERS CHANGE THEIR HEALTH OR DENTAL PLAN?
Members can log into their member portal at MySoonerCare.org or call the SoonerCare helpline at 800-987-7767 and ask to speak to a choice counselor. Providers cannot change a SoonerSelect plan for a member.

HOW DO MEMBERS FIND THEIR HEALTH OR DENTAL PLAN INFORMATION?
Members can log into their member portal at MySoonerCare.org to view their plan. Each plan’s provider directories, benefit guides and member handbooks can be found on the OHCA website.

WHO ARE THE SOONERSELECT HEALTH PLANS?
SoonerSelect health plans include Aetna Better Health of Oklahoma, Humana Healthy Horizons in Oklahoma and Oklahoma Complete Health.

HOW DO MEMBERS LEARN MORE ABOUT THEIR BENEFITS AND COVERAGE?
All SoonerSelect health and dental plans offer the same services currently covered by SoonerCare but offer added benefits. Members should review their plan’s benefit guide as well as the value-added benefits comparison chart. Members should contact the plans directly if they have any questions related to benefits.
