OK SPA 24-0019 High Acuity Tracheostomy Rate for Nursing Facilities

The Oklahoma Health Care Authority is proposing revisions to a previously posted State Plan Amendment to establish an add-on rate for nursing facilities that serve tracheostomy patients who meet the high-acuity criteria for the period of January 1, 2025 through June 30, 2025. The enhanced rate will help to cover the high cost associated with this type of care.  The rate is being determined using existing cost data based on four components: direct care and allied staff costs, social and support staff costs, cost of drugs and medical supplies, and general and administrative costs.
