SoonerCare Representatives Bringing Community Forum To Ponca City on November 13
The Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) invites the public to attend a community forum on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pioneer Technology Center. SoonerCare members, providers and interested citizens are asked to participate in this two-way conversation regarding Oklahoma’s SoonerCare (Medicaid) program.
“The OHCA is dedicated to collaborating with community partners to continue to build strong, healthy communities,” said OHCA Community Relations Manager Hillary Winn. “This community forum is an opportunity to meet with state and local partners to discuss SoonerCare programs and how we can work together to increase the well-being of qualified Oklahomans through access to quality health care.”
Katie Woodward, program manager of the Oklahoma Durable Medical Equipment Reuse Program (OKDMERP), will also be on hand to receive donations of lightly used equipment. Suggestions for drop-off include nebulizers, canes, blood pressure monitors and Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machines.
The forum is open to all members of surrounding communities and counties.
Seating is limited, so plan to arrive early.
The Pioneer Technology Center is located at 2101 N. Ash in Ponca City. RSVP by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TGTMY6F.
