CareerTech staffer named to TSA Hall of Fame

Tonja Norwood, work-based learning liaison at Oklahoma CareerTech, was inducted into the Technology Student Association Hall of Fame during the Oklahoma TSA State Leadership Conference earlier this year.

She received the honor for her years of service and leadership supporting TSA programs across Oklahoma. Until September 2025, when she moved into her current position, Norwood served as manager of CareerTech’s STEM division. During her tenure, TSA became the largest CareerTech student organization in Oklahoma.

“This recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects the incredible work of our STEM team, students, teachers, state adviser Tami Redus, chapter advisers and supporters across Oklahoma who are passionate about STEM education and student success,” Norwood said. “This honor belongs to everyone who helped create opportunities for students to discover their potential and pursue careers in STEM fields.”
