Mid-America Tech opens remodeled building
Mid-America Technology Center recently held an open house to show off its remodeling project, which added 32,000 square feet of space to the tech center.
The project includes new office spaces, a meeting room that can hold up to 600 people and a safe room that can hold up to 330 people and double as a conference room. The project also brought the older part of the building up to code, Superintendent Mike Eubank told The Purcell Register.
Eubank said the tech center also built an information technology maintenance building. The projects will allow room for up to six more classes or programs in the newly opened spaces.
