eQSuite® Care Coordination Provider Portal
The Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA)’s prior authorization (PA) system is changing for the following PA requests:
- Scheduled medical transportation (MT)
- Paid family caregiver (PFC)
- Private duty nursing (PDN)
- Out-of-state (OOS)
OHCA is transitioning to processing these PAs for SoonerCare members using the eQSuite® Care Coordination Provider Portal, a web-based system designed to streamline PA submissions. This comprehensive, integrated program supports care coordinators, case managers, utilization reviewers, providers and members by enhancing efficiency and accuracy in communication between OHCA utilization reviewers and SoonerCare providers.
With this transition, providers will be able to:
- Electronically submit PA requests,
- Upload supporting clinical documentation directly to the member record,
- Receive real-time status updates on requested services, and
- Engage with OHCA care coordinators regarding additional documentation needed for clinical determination.
To gain access to the eQSuite® Care Coordination Provider Portal, an OHCA help desk agent will be contacting the current provider portal administrators to assist with the initial set-up for eQsuite. Please notify your current OHCA provider portal administrator they will be receiving a call and/or email. After the initial set-up, the administrator will be responsible for creating additional clerk/staff access and maintenance of the eQsuite portal. If you need general assistance or assistance resetting your password, please call 800-522-0114, select option 2 and then option 3.
OHCA's goal with this implementation is to increase automation and consistency in PA submissions while reducing turnaround times for authorization decisions.
