APA WF 21-12 Purchasing Rules Revisions

The proposed revisions will re-establish agency-specific rules for purchasing and procurement. Revisions include provisions related to procurement definitions, procurement ethics and prohibited conduct, conflicts of interest, and procurement of goods and services and professional services.

These proposed rules are asking for a 14-day expedited tribal consultation.  I see no reason that an expedited tribal consultation is needed and therefore we object to the 14-day expedited tribal consultation period and request that a regular tribal consultation period be used.  The OHCA should be very cautious and selective on items that are requesting expedited tribal consultation.
