OHCA Outreach

OHCA is dedicated to supporting and working with hundreds of Tribal and community partners dedicated to empowering and improving their community. The hard work and dedication of the many private, public and nonprofit state and community-based organizations and Tribes across Oklahoma makes it possible to provide much needed information and resources to families and individuals who may qualify for SoonerCare.

Tribal Government Relations

OHCA is committed to meaningful communication with tribal representatives, and has developed a mechanism for ongoing consultation with Oklahoma’s tribal governments, health providers, health facilities, governmental officials, and other key stakeholders

In an effort to increase access to the SoonerCare program for American Indians, OHCA is actively providing outreach in tribal communities and welcomes invitations to assist with community events.

Community Partners

Access to quality health care is a statewide issue that is bigger than one agency or organization. With this in mind, we continue to look for more organizations to partner with in this endeavor. OHCA is pleased to provide a list of tools, resources and vital information to support our partners’ efforts in linking members of the community to high quality health care.
