Moore Norman Tech provides land for running trail

Moore Norman Technology Center is providing a safe practice area for Moore High School cross-country runners, along with other runners in the community.

An MNTC maintenance technician planned a running trail on MNTC property, and workers mowed a 1.85 mile trail, according to a Fox 23 News story. The trail is open on weekends to all students and community members.

Moore cross-country runners had been running on roads around town, but traffic made safety a concern, especially after three students died two years ago when a man drove through a group of runners.
