2026 OSBI Sexual Assault Awareness Month Symposium
Description
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) will be hosting the 2nd Annual Sexual Assault Awareness Month Symposium in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on the 24th of April, 2026. The symposium is a public community event associated with Sexual Assault Awareness Month that aims to bring collaboration between social services; laboratory, forensic science, and clinician academia; victim advocacy and survivor support services; law enforcement; and, most importantly, our community members and sexual assault survivors. Registration is open to any member of the public and there is no cost for attendees. **
This one-day event consists of informational and training sessions from some of the aforementioned disciplines, as well as keynote speakers from the community, promoting the need and support for interdisciplinary cooperation on behalf of sexual assault survivors and the citizens of Oklahoma. **
Allied services groups are highlighted and invited to share available community resources through cost-free public information booths. **
