OHCA to host virtual town halls for SoonerCare members
SoonerCare members will have their chance to provide feedback to the Oklahoma Health Care Authority on improving health care for them and their families through a virtual town hall meeting on Friday, Feb. 18.
Members have the option to attend one of three meetings scheduled for 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Members can ask questions, participate in discussions and polls. Topics will include tobacco use, obesity, teen pregnancy and other social determinants of health such as living and work conditions.
These discussions will help OHCA tailor programs and benefits to better meet and address the needs of SoonerCare members.
Registration is open until midnight Wednesday, Feb. 16. Members must register at https://oklahoma.gov/ohca/about/soonercare-townhall.html in order to attend the town hall meeting.
