Education Goals
- Define, evaluate and update industry certification, licensure and credentialing requirements so the system has authority to ensure CareerTech programs prepare students for relevant workforce credentials.
- Annually increase statewide postsecondary pathways by increasing transfer credit acceptance agreements between technology centers and Oklahoma colleges and universities.
- Ensure that by the time students are in ninth grade they are aware of the pathways that lead to CareerTech programs and the requirements for those programs (ICAP).
- Increase concentration and completion rates in K-12 pathways.
- Increase participation in CareerTech apprenticeships to 250 and Department of Labor registered apprenticeships to 250.
