Education Goals
Define, evaluate and update industry certification, licensure and credentialing requirements where the system has authority to ensure CareerTech programs prepare students for relevant workforce credentials.
Annually increase statewide postsecondary pathways by increasing transfer credit acceptance agreements between technology centers and Oklahoma colleges and universities.
Ensure that by the time students are in ninth grade they are aware of the pathways that lead to CareerTech programs and the requirements for those programs (ICAP).
Increase concentration and completion rates in K-12 pathways.
Increase participation in CareerTech apprenticeships to 250 and Department of Labor registered apprenticeships to 250.
