RRTC students train in live simulation
Red River Technology Center students got the chance to test their skills recently in a simulated emergency.
Emergency medical services and nursing students rescued and treated victims in a mock accident last week with the help of emergency workers from Duncan, Stephens County and the Chickasaw Nation, according to an article in The Duncan Banner.
“Everybody plays an integral part and the kids look forward to it. It’s very beneficial to them, because they get to see some hands-on experience,” EMS instructor Jeff Prater told the newspaper.
