Indicator 3: Assessment
Indicator 3 measures students with disabilities participation and performance rate on state assessments. The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) of 2015 prohibits schools from excluding students with disabilities from the educational accountability system.
Indicator 3
- Indicator 3A Assessment Participation: Percent of all students with IEPs participating in a state assessment, for grades 4, 8, and 11.
- Indicator 3B Assessment Participation: Percent of students with disabilities participating in regular statewide assessments who achieve Proficient or Advanced scores (Reading and Math - grades 4, 8, and 11).
