Our Purpose
The purpose of the HOSA organization is to develop leadership and technical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness, and recognition, which is an integral part of the Health Science and Biomedical Science Education instructional program.

Oklahoma HOSA panel reflects on 50 years of health leadership development
2026 marks the fiftieth anniversary of Oklahoma HOSA -- Future Health Professionals. Oklahoma HOSA's contributions include charter membership in the national organization (1976) and hosting the first national convention in Oklahoma City (1978).
Four CareerTech leaders sat down in spring of this year to discuss HOSA's historical and ongoing impact for training future health professionals in Oklahoma and beyond.
