6-17-2024 Okmulgee: Okmulgee Public Schools is accepting resumes for an Agricultural Education Instructor/FFA Advisor beginning July 1, 2024. The Okmulgee Agricultural Education program is a nationally ranked and recognized program with students involved in many activities. The program was restarted in 2018 and has since been named a National Model of Excellence Award finalist chapter as well as a National 3-Star Chapter for 3 consecutive application cycles. The Ag-Ed facilities are set to be renovated as part of a recent bond issue passed earlier this year to include a food science lab, expanded classroom and shop space, and an animal science facility. We are interested in a well-rounded, adaptable instructor who is willing to collaborate with the other Ag-Ed staff to develop a diverse educational program. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong organizational and communication skills to help lead our program. Possible areas of instructional responsibilities include Food Science, Animal Science, Introduction to Agriscience, and 8th Grade Ag Explorations (among others). 5-16-2024 Sand Springs: Sand Springs Public Schools is accepting applications for an Agriculture Education Instructor/FFA Advisor for the 2024-25 school year. 4-26-2024 Barnsdall: Barnsdall is now accepting applications for an Agriculture Education teacher for the 2024-25 school year.  Position start date is August 1, 2024.  Preferred applicants are highly qualified in Oklahoma Department of Career Tech Agriculture Education and have a CDL with school bus driver endorsement.  Barnsdall Public School is a rural school in Northeastern Oklahoma.
