Superfund

The Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA), otherwise known as Superfund, is a federal program used to cleanup our nation’s uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. DEQ works with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to address Superfund sites in Oklahoma.

This webpage provides updated information on the Superfund Program and the continued efforts of DEQ to protect public health and the environment from the release of uncontrolled hazardous waste.
