Air Quality Construction Permit: Proposed Aluminum Smelter


The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has received an air quality construction permit application from Oklahoma Primary Aluminum for the proposed smelter in Inola.

DEQ is responsible for reviewing the application to ensure appropriate emission controls and technologies are in place and that all regulatory requirements are met before any permit decision is made.
