Missing Person
February 17, 1993

On February 17, 1993, during the morning hours, Tracy Samuels dropped her son off at her parents' residence in Jenks, Oklahoma.  Tracy told her mother that she was going to a job interview.  Tracy's vehicle was discovered abandoned in the Cherry Hills Apartments in Tulsa. Tracy was last seen getting into a white GMC or Chevy flatbed pickup truck driven by a white male.

March 24, 2009

On March 24, 2009, about 4:15 AM, two unidentified men broke into the Fairland, Oklahoma residence occupied by Samuel Sanders, his wife, grandson, and granddaughter.  Samuel Sanders was shot and killed during the home invasion.

October 13, 2011

On October 13, 2011 Carina Saunders' dismembered body was found in a field near a grocery store at NW 23rd &  Rockwell in Bethany, Oklahoma.  On October 8, 2011, Saunders was last seen getting into a red Ford 4 door pickup at the Newcastle Casino.  Reports surfaced of a video of her murder.

July 1, 1990

On July 1, 1990 Terry Schmidt and some friends had just finished eating at TGIF located at 6100 S. Memorial in Tulsa.  Upon returning to their vehicle, suspects from another vehicle approached and tried to rob Terry.  During the struggle, Terry was shot.  The suspects’ vehicle was a stolen vehicle and was later recovered.

July 19, 1978

On August 17, 1978, the nude body of an unidentified female was found next to Highway 77 between Marietta and Thackerville, Oklahoma. The victim had been shot once and left by the road for approximately 1 to 2 weeks before she was discovered. She remained a “Jane Doe” until 2014, when her fingerprints identified her as Pamela Joy Schuerman, from the Oak Lawn neighborhood in Dallas, Texas. Schuerman previously lived in Colorado Springs, CO, San Diego, CA, and Killeen, TX, and was last seen alive on July 19, 1978 in Dallas.

March 21, 1998

On March 21, 1998, Lena Scott was in the parking lot of a bar located at 6300 S. Peoria, Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She was standing next to a truck arguing with the subject inside the vehicle.  The truck backed up and ran over Lena, dragging her on S. Peoria.  Lena died as a result of the accident.

May 21, 2007

On May 21, 2007, at approximately 3:30 PM, family discovered James Shaw deceased at his residence in El Reno, Oklahoma.  The Medical Examiner's Office reported the death as a homicide caused by multiple stab wounds.

February 15, 2011

On February 15, 2011, Chris Shelton went missing.  On April 8, 2011 his body was found in a ditch in Okmulgee County, Oklahoma. The Medical Examiner reported that Shelton died from a gunshot wound.  Shelton was known to frequent chicken fights in Oklahoma and traveled to Mexico to participate in chicken fights.

July 19, 2011

On August 14, 2011, Bill Shipley was reported missing by his parents.  Bill was last seen or heard from on July 19, 2011.  Bill was a contract painter for Arby's and had jobs in TX, AR, and KS, but never arrived at the job in Kansas.  Bill's clothes were packed and left inside his residence in Goldsby, OK.  Bill had two vehicles, and both went missing at different times.  Both vehicles were found in Oklahoma City at different apartment complexes.  A subject used Bill's credit card in Norman, OK (photo included.)

May 15, 1987

On May 15, 1987, David Simpson's deceased body was found in his home in Owasso, Oklahoma. David was last seen alive by his wife just before she left their home that morning. Hours later, his wife returned home to find the home ransacked and David shot. David was a devoted race car driver and fan who was known to spend time at a local speedway in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On November 21, 1986, an off-duty police officer discovered the body of a white male near Highway 9 in Newcastle, Oklahoma.  The victim had trauma to his head. Fingerprints were used to identify the victim as David Dewayne Smith.

Michael Smith left Kansas with his mother to drop her off in Sulphur, Oklahoma.  He left Sulphur to return to Kansas but never arrived.  His body was found along I-35 near Perry on August 30, 1978.  His vehicle was recovered later in Colorado.

March 15, 1985

On March 15, 1985, Timothy Smith phoned his family in Tennessee and asked for money to purchase a bus ticket.  Timothy said he needed to leave Duncan, Oklahoma, because someone was going to kill him.  Timothy has not been seen or heard from since the phone call.  Timothy was approximately 6'1", 280 lbs, with brown hair and eyes.

July 10, 1991

On July 10, 1991, the body of John Sowders was found on a rural road in McClain County. Sowders was the victim of homicide, and his body had been dumped in that location.  Sowders had been missing from Oklahoma City since July 7.  His pickup truck was found abandoned in Payne County.

November 26, 2007

On November 27, 2007, the body of Denise Stice was located on the south bank of Lake Overholser in Oklahoma City.  At the time of her murder, Denise was employed at Tinker Air Force Base.  Denise was last seen by a friend on the evening of November 26, 2007.  According to her friend, she was going directly home.  Denise's vehicle was located in the Bali Apartments on North Tela Drive, just a few miles from where her body was discovered.

Jimmy Stinson’s body was found on a roadside near Sasakwa, Oklahoma on March 17, 1974.  Jimmy had been shot to death.

April 24, 1978

Kenneth Sumner was last seen April 24, 1978.  Both Sumner and Sumner’s brown 1975 Ford pickup with Oklahoma license plate 819680 have not been located.  Sumner was a white male, 5’11, 225 lbs, blue eyes, gray hair, tattoo on left forearm of a Hawaiian woman wearing a hula skirt, tattoo on right upper arm of a woman.

Velma Swank, age 82, was discovered in her yard in Watts, Oklahoma on March 2, 1995.  Velma had numerous abrasions, lacerations, and contusions on her body.  Evidence in Velma’s home suggested she fled her house during a break-in.

The body of Jennifer Taylor, age 20, was found inside her burned vehicle below a bluff overlooking the Illinois River in northern Adair County, on May 13, 1999.  An autopsy revealed Jennifer died as a result of a gunshot wound to her head.

On August 7, 1978, Bobby Gene Thomas was found murdered in Moore, Oklahoma.  His body had been stuffed into the trunk of his car, which was located in a dry lake bed.

April 6, 2010

On April 6, 2010, skeletal remains were discovered by a workman in Blanchard, Oklahoma.  The remains were later identified as Karry Tidball by comparison of dental records.  It was determined that Karry died as a result of blunt force trauma to her head.

April 18, 1980

On April 18, 1980, an unidentified white female was found on the bank of the North Canadian River within the city limits of Jones, Oklahoma. The nude victim was covered with a white powder believed to be lime.  In December 2019, this victim was identified as Tamara Lee TIGARD.  TIGARD was shot to death and her murder remains unsolved.

On April 11, 2011, the body of Jeremy Toles was found deceased 1/2 mile north of Waterloo Road on South May Avenue in Logan County, Oklahoma. Toles was last seen the night of April 10.  It was determined Toles died from blunt force trauma.

On August 23, 1980, Carnegie Police Officers responded to a report that a body was found lying in an alley. The victim was identified as Herman Toppah.  The Medical Examiner determined Toppah had been hit in the head with a blunt instrument.

On August 16, 1988, David Tracy, age 44, was found shot to death at a rest stop along the Turner Turnpike in Creek County. On August 21, 1988, David’s vehicle was found abandoned in Harris County, Texas.

July 9, 1998

Jackie Urich was last seen on July 9, 1998, between 12:00 and 2:00pm, in Westville, Oklahoma. He was last seen wearing a dark colored t-shirt or muscle shirt, blue jeans, and white sport shoes. Urich's red 1987 Ford Ranger pickup truck was recovered on July 21, 1998 after being wrecked in Okfuskee County. The truck was occupied by a young white male and two young white females who fled after the wreck.  The occupants are not suspects in the disappearance of Urich but are wanted for questioning.
