Data & Reporting

Purpose

OSDE is proud to offer the Amira Statewide Screening Assessment for all Oklahoma students in kindergarten through 5th grade at no cost to districts. Under the Strong Readers Act, all students in kindergarten through 3rd grade must be screened for risk of reading difficulty at the beginning, middle, and end of each year. The Amira screening assessment has been approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Education to meet this requirement.

Reporting Timeline

Website Requirements

Schools must have their SY 25-26 data posted on the school website using the provided format by September 1, 2026

Format

OSDE provided unified format. This form meets ADA accessibility standards. Districts are strongly advised to use this format. If it is converted to a different format, the district is responsible for ensuring continued compliance with accessibility requirements. This Excel sheet is configured to display 'less than 10' instead of the actual value for entries below 10. In these cases, to further ensure the protection of student data privacy, the sheet should be locked before being posted to the school website.
