Specialty Updates
A specialty request is required when a licensee needs to update their board certification status on an existing specialty record or add a new specialty record.
To accomplish this, the licensee will login to the licensee portal and select "Specialty Requests" from the available menu.
The system will walk the licensee through the edit or addition of a record.
If the licensee is attempting to add board certification to a new or existing entry, they will need to upload proof of active certification from the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), or American Association of Physician Specialists (AAPS).
