The Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners was established by the Oklahoma State Legislature in 1921 with a principle duty of licensing applicants for the practice of osteopathic medicine and adoption of rules and regulations governing enforcement oflaws of the Osteopathic Medicine Act relating to the profession.

Mission Statement

To protect the public by regulating the practice of osteopathic medicine in the State of Oklahoma through education and licensing and to ensure that each licensee practices osteopathic medicine within the provisions of the Osteopathic Medicine Act.
