
Archivist
Job Description: The Archivist is responsible for providing professional archival services for the Oklahoma Department of Libraries’ State Archives unit. Applying their specialized knowledge and skills in archives, they work to preserve and provide access to historical records and primary sources created by the Oklahoma State Government. This process includes the transfer and processing of historical materials in various formats into the State Archives collection; the creation and maintenance of finding aids, indexes, and other collection retrieval tools; and the management of digital platforms for control of and access to collections. The starting salary range is $49,800-54,800 based on education and experience.
