April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month

Doing Things Differently:

Moving From the Challenge to the Change

April is recognized as National Child Abuse Prevention Month. As part of this initiative, the Oklahoma CBCAP program is urging all partners across the state to take immediate action and collaborate with parents and caregivers to strengthen Oklahoma's children and families.

By exploring, engaging, and investing in innovative solutions, we can transform the way services and supports are delivered to families. It's crucial to create adequate levels of support that can help families overcome challenges and provide equitable assistance to all families.

Strengthening families involves spreading awareness in your community about the various ways in which we can support families. Check out the resources on this page to educate and engage your community in the efforts to support children, youth, and families during National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
