Oklahoma Women, Infants & Children Program
WIC is a nutrition education and supplemental food program for pregnant women, postpartum breastfeeding and nonbreastfeeding women and their infants and children who meet program eligibility requirements.

Perrigo Company plc has initiated a voluntary recall of certain lots of Gerber® Good Start® SoothePro Powdered Infant Formula.
Oklahoma WIC participants with formulas affected by the recall are encouraged to:
- Check lot numbers and use by dates.
- Check the bottom of any cans of SoothePro formula for matching lot codes and use by dates (listed here).
- Stop using and return any recalled formula to the vendor.
- Any clients who purchased product with matching codes should discontinue use and return the product to the store for replacement.
- Call their WIC clinic if the store is unable to provide a replacement.
- If the recalled formula cannot be replaced at the store, clients should keep their formula to return to their clinic as proof of purchase. The clinic can help clients navigate next steps.
How Can I Get WIC?
- Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have recently given birth
- Infants
- Children up to the age of five
You might qualify if you:
- Live in the state of Oklahoma
- Have a family income within program limits
- If you receive Medicaid, SNAP or TANF, you are automatically eligible for WIC benefits.
