In light of formula shortages, please view our formula transition guides below if you are needing to adjust baby to a new formula.

Perrigo Company plc has initiated a voluntary recall of certain lots of Gerber® Good Start® SoothePro Powdered Infant Formula.

Oklahoma WIC participants with formulas affected by the recall are encouraged to:

  1. Check lot numbers and use by dates.
    • Check the bottom of any cans of SoothePro formula for matching lot codes and use by dates (listed here).
  2. Stop using and return any recalled formula to the vendor.
    • Any clients who purchased product with matching codes should discontinue use and return the product to the store for replacement.
  3. Call their WIC clinic if the store is unable to provide a replacement.
    • If the recalled formula cannot be replaced at the store, clients should keep their formula to return to their clinic as proof of purchase. The clinic can help clients navigate next steps.

How Can I Get WIC?

  • Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have recently given birth
  • Infants

You might qualify if you:

  • Live in the state of Oklahoma
  • Have a family income within program limits
  • If you receive Medicaid, SNAP or TANF, you are automatically eligible for WIC benefits.
  • Click here for the online prescreening tool to help determine if you qualify.

Applying for WIC is simple! Use the online WIC enrollment request tool to get started on applying for WIC services. The tool asks several questions about you and your household that are necessary to set up your first WIC appointment to determine your eligibility.

As you proceed through the tool, you will also be given the option to upload each applicant’s proofs of identification, residency, and income, which are required for program participation.  Your clinic selection within the tool will determine which clinic will receive your enrollment request.  After the request is received by the clinic, you can expect the clinic you selected to reach out to you in a few days to schedule an appointment to complete your eligibility determination and enrollment.
