Sexual Health & Harm Reduction (SHHR) Service

The mission of the Sexual Health and Harm Reduction Service (SHHRS) is to protect and promote the public’s health by intervening in the transmission of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and Hepatitis. The service concentrates its efforts in three areas: prevention and intervention - to prevent the spread of disease; care delivery - to connect those living with disease to the care they need; and surveillance and analysis - to review data and develop plans to control the spread of disease and prevent future outbreaks.
