Paid Student Teaching

The Paid Student Teaching Program is designed to remove financial barriers for future educators as they complete one of the most critical steps in their journey to becoming a teacher. Student teaching is a full-time commitment, often leaving candidates with little or no time for outside employment. This program provides eligible participants with a stipend during their student teaching semester, allowing them to focus entirely on developing their skills, building relationships in the classroom, and preparing to inspire the next generation of Oklahoma students. By investing in teacher candidates today, we are strengthening the future of education across our state.
