Oklahoma Science of Reading Academies: Cohort 5

We have an important and encouraging update for you regarding LETRS live training for Cohort 5.

Following our previous communication regarding the interruption in training, OSDE staff continued exploring possible options and are pleased to share that a solution has been identified. Cohort 5 participants will be able to complete the remaining required live LETRS training sessions. We are currently working with Lexia Learning to schedule live training sessions for all remaining units.

At this time, we are finalizing logistics and confirming details to ensure the training can be delivered with minimal further disruption. Once session schedules are finalized, they will be made available for registration in SWOOGO. Please watch for upcoming communications and the release of these sessions in the platform. 

We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we worked to identify a viable path forward. Thank you for your continued commitment to strengthening literacy instruction for Oklahoma students, and please remain alert and responsive to the scheduling information that will follow

All attendance certificates for training sessions occurring after July 31st, 2024 will now be found on the LETRS platform.  You can locate attendance certificates by following these steps:

1. In the upper-right-hand corner, click on your name.
2. Click “view profile”
3. On the left-hand side, click on “attendance”

It is important to note that the email address used in the LETRS platform must be the same email used in every facilitated session for you to receive your certificate of attendance. The email you provide after each of your facilitated training sessions must match the email that is listed on your LETRS account.
