Data Correction Window Calendar
School officials must review the data they submit to the OSDE to ensure accuracy. This data is displayed in the Accountability Reporting application as it is collected, and inaccuracies typically can be rectified in the school's Student Information System during the current school year. Additionally, school leaders are provided 15-day opportunities to review, correct, and verify data uploaded to OSDE databases. Data correction windows, aka Verification Review (DVR) windows, open at several points throughout the year, providing these opportunities. Per Oklahoma statute, all unappealed data are considered valid and final once data correction windows close.

Instructions for Submitting Appeals
The toolkits below provide detailed instructions explaining how to review and submit appeals during data correction windows. Appeals are evaluated by OSDE staff to ensure that the data reported in various reports, including the Oklahoma Public School Report Cards, are accurate.
Data Conflicts—Data conflicts are issues identified for current-year data. The OSDE Accountability Reporting application flags records that appear to not conform with the agency business rules that inform reporting. Data conflicts are typically resolved by updating information in the local Student Information System before the Wave rollover in July.
Data Verification Review (DVR) Appeals—For data used in reports from prior school years, schools may request the correction of inaccurate data using the DVR appeal process. The toolkits below provide guidance on submitting an appeal and the documentation needed to evaluate whether corrections are warranted. Any data not appealed during the DVR window is considered valid.
