State Statutes
Every two years, the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission (IOGCC) conducts a survey of the states and provinces to update the Summary of State Statutes and Regulations for Oil and Gas Production. This summary is widely used by states and the public in learning how individual states and provinces regulate oil and gas exploration and production. This summary includes information for the IOGCC Member States, Associate Member States and International Affiliates.
