Model Statutes

Throughout its existence, the IOGCC has sought to aid the states in the conservation of oil and gas. One of the many ways in which this has been accomplished is through the drafting of model statutes. Another important service provided by the IOGCC has been the issuing of suggested guidelines to be used by the states or by those in the oil and gas industry.
