Seasonal Food Service Establishments
A Seasonal Food Service Establishment is a facility that meets the following requirements:
- Open for no more than 180 consecutive days per physical address per year
- Limited to serving coffee, snow cones with use of liquid milk, raw fruits, raw vegetables, nuts in the shell, and commercially bottles syrup, sorghum, honey, sweet cider, and other non-Time/Temperature Control for safety Foods
Plan Review Process:
- Complete a Plan Review which can be picked up at your local county health department
- Turn in the completed plan review to your local county health department
- A health inspector will review the plan review and contact you once the review is complete
Initial Application Process:
- Once the health inspector has completed the review of the Plan Review and there are no issues with it that need to be resolved, the health inspector will schedule a time to inspect the facility that will be used as the Seasonal Food Service Establishment
- Once the initial inspection is complete and there are no issues that need to be resolved, the health inspector will complete an initial application form and ask you to sign it.
- The initial application form details the name, address, owner, type of facility, and amount due for license
- Mail in the application along with the appropriate payment to the address listed at the top of the application
- Once the application and payment are received and processed by the Oklahoma State Department of Health a license will be mailed to the mailing address listed on the application
- Seasonal Food Service Establishment licenses cannot be renewed.
- To get a new license, contact your local county health inspector
