The fifth annual Ponca City Walktober competition is here!

Walktober is a team event sponsored by the Kay County Healthy Living Coalition. Teams of five log their steps every day through the month of October. Weekly reports will be sent to each team summarizing their individual results and the team rankings.
Last year 35 teams competed, and logged a cumulative 49,929,261 steps! This year we are hoping to have even more participation and fun, with community partners offering Walking Lunches, activities, and drawings.

Schools, Communities, Congregations, Restaurants, Campuses, and Early Childhood programs each have their own Certified Healthy category. Spread the word and encourage others to take advantage of this program and its resources.
