Oklahomans can Now Schedule a Virtual Driver License Reinstatement Visit
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
February 20, 2025
OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahomans with a suspended Driver License now have three convenient options for reinstatement. In addition to in-person service and the ability to submit a Reinstatement Request online, Service Oklahoma now offers same-day Reinstatement Virtual Visits. This virtual option provides more flexibility for customers, often eliminating the need for an in-person visit.
Virtual Visits and Online Reinstatement Requests streamline the process for citizens whose Driver Licenses have been suspended due to various violations, allowing them to easily speak with a Service Oklahoma team member and submit a reinstatement request quickly and efficiently from the comfort of their homes or mobile devices.
“Same-day Reinstatement Virtual Visits are a way we are able to meet Oklahomans where they are,” said Diedra O’Neil, Chief Strategy & Operating Officer of Service Oklahoma. “These virtual options not only provide flexibility for citizens who may not be able to visit in person, but they also help reduce traffic at our locations, optimize staffing and create a more seamless service experience. By modernizing our approach, we’re enhancing both accessibility and efficiency.”
Service Oklahoma has made requesting a same-day Reinstatement Virtual Visit or submitting a Reinstatement Request online simple and user-friendly. Oklahomans can get started online at service.ok.gov or by visiting the License Suspensions page. Those who prefer in-person service can find the nearest location with the shortest wait and check in online at service.ok.gov/locations.
Service Oklahoma encourages those needing a Driver License reinstated to first start with the Reinstatement Eligibility Check Form. This form guides users through which documents are needed for each suspension type while also answering the most frequent questions.
When an online or digital reinstatement request is submitted, Service Oklahoma will process the reinstatement within 72 business hours and send an invoice by email. Service Oklahoma encourages citizens to begin the reinstatement process online at service.ok.gov/reinstatements.
