OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahomans now have the ability to go online and join the waitlist for all Service Oklahoma Licensing and Exam locations as well as the new Drive Test Centers to find the nearest location with the shortest wait time.
The live wait map is the latest feature to the new check-in system Service Oklahoma launched in December and makes it easy for citizens to get in line right from the comfort of their own home.
The online waitlist is updated in real time to enable Oklahomans to proactively approximate wait times and determine if it is the best time in their schedule to visit a Service Oklahoma Licensing and Exam or Drive Test location for their service.
“The new live wait map feature not only provides transparency to Oklahomans about what they can expect when they visit Service Oklahoma, but also naturally balances the flow of customers at each location,” said Jay Doyle, Chief Executive Officer of Service Oklahoma. “Ultimately, the system’s goal is to decrease the amount of time citizens spend in a Service Oklahoma lobby waiting for service.”
Service Oklahoma has made the live waitlist feature easy to use. Oklahomans simply go to service.ok.gov/locations and select the ‘Join Waitlist’ icon. From there, citizens select the service they need, and the system suggests locations based on distance and wait time. Citizens have the ability to see the nearest locations, including licensed operators, and view wait times for Licensing and Exam locations and Drive Test Centers.
“This is another step we’re taking to better serve Oklahomans,” said Dell Kerbs, District 26 House Representative. “Customers can check wait times online for Service Oklahoma locations and pick the best one for them.”
After joining the waitlist, citizens have access to a personalized status page which indicates when to arrive for their service and includes a list of all of the required documents needed to complete the service.

Currently the online, live waitlist check-in feature is only available for Service Oklahoma Licensing and Exam locations as well as the Drive Test Centers. Oklahomans can still check-in on-site at Service Oklahoma Licensing and Exam or Drive Test Center locations by using the on-premises QR code or lobby kiosk.
